So you’ve downloaded ”Wearable Notifications” on your phone & watch, but now what?
How do you actually set up a Watch Face so that you can use ”Wearable Notifications” within a Watch Face’s Complication?

Well, first thing to know is that 3rd-party / external Data Providers are typically only set on the actual watch itself & not through the Watch Face’s phone App, so you won’t need your phone to set it up!

Another important thing to be aware of is that while pretty much every Wear 2.0 Watch Face supports 3rd-party / external Data Providers, they don’t all:
> support them the same way
> use the same setup
> support themes / colors
Some only support displaying Icons (referred to as “Small Icon") & # Counts (referred to as “Short Text"), some Icons & Notification Content (referred to as “Long Text”). It’s completely up to the Watch Face developer what they want to do. ”Wearable Notifications” is a Data Provider & simply provides the data to the Watch Face, from there it’s up to the Watch Face.

To help you understand the different setups & options available, be sure to check out some of the Featured Watch Faces> http://wearable-notifications.com/featured/

If you’ve already installed some of those, here’s how to set up the Complications to use 3rd-party / external Data Providers (such as but not limited to “Wearable Notifications")> https://plus.google.com/u/3/communities/105617010943699124240/stream/71407a13-1585-4ea5-a0c9-e2b32d651881

If you’re using another Watch Face that isn’t ”featured” & you’re having problems figuring it out, let us know & we’ll be happy to help.

why did you make it paid to use it basically with any app....can't u make money with it different?

AT FIRST:i was like :D THATS WHATS MISSING ON MY WATCH! yay
THEN: after installation: they really want money, so i can display my Notification? are they for real. (except some google apps, most of them nobody uses)

is this even still in development?

Does it work with knox mode?

Does the watch need a specific app to show the notification? Like do I need to install the watch version of messenger for it to work or will it pull the notification from the phone...

How does this work? It shows Gmail but I bought it and added pulse which is a message app and it is not showing any notifications...

Like I said it works with Gmail and Hangouts but nothing that I added separate.

Edit: I am using watchmaker and added a complication
