Hello, I really want to get in shape but don't have access to a gym. I have not exercised properly for years but now I am motivated. I love to swim and like a bit of yoga and have just incorporated some exercises into a twice daily workout (30 mins each). Most are focusing on abs as that is where I have a concentration of fat :-O   I like the idea of strength training and am not that keen on running.  Any help/links/suggestions/ideas/ inspiration would be greatly appreciated.

Okay 3 weeks ago I took a terrible fall and did some BAD damage to my knee. Had MRI and will get results early this week coming up. My doctor thinks its a badly torn meniscus. My problem~I'm used to working out at least 4-5 times a week but the pain of my knee has me limited because I don't want to do more damage. I'm going into a slump...I'm losing my motivation. Oh and did I mention I am talking care of my husband who had open heart surgery the day after I fell? Any ideas?

The 30 Day Push-up Challenge is aimed at all levels of fitness and is a great way to tone and strengthen your chest, shoulders, triceps and torso area. The challenge involves completing the stated number of push-ups each day, with the reps increasing as the day’s progress. These must be done continuously. Don't worry if you can't manage to complete all the reps each day, simply enter the amount you completed. The aim of the challenge is for personal progression! The 30 Day Wall Sit Challenge is aimed at all levels of fitness and is a great way to tone and strengthen your leg and buttock areas. The challenge involves completing the stated Wall Sit time each day, with the times getting slightly longer as the days progress. Don't worry if you can't manage to complete each time, simply enter the time you achieved.
