Since this group has been a little more lively with submissions lately, I figured I'd join in on the fun.

This is a quick 30 second clip from a new project I am working on. I've posted another clip from this one before. It's a longer project that probably won't be released for a while.

Anyway, here's the clip!

I posted a test animation a couple days ago. Here it is again, this time in more completed form.

Here's a rough animation I've been working on for a couple of days. Still needs work but I figured I'd share :)

Here's a little test walk cycle that I did for an animated short that I'm working on. I have many different projects that I'm working on periodically, but I'm hoping to have this one finished for Christmas this year, but we'll see. Anyway...it's one of my favorite walks: The Double Bounce.

+Jimmy Mills and I have been working on some new stuff behind the scenes. Here is a short clip of one of these projects. This one is being designed for students to learn how to create an effective walk cycle in #AnimateCC for +Train Simple.

Any Loveline fans?  I'm not sure why I made this...

I did a quick rig test of my new character over the weekend. I'm working with a slightly modified workflow (from my norm). Everything is made out of images, with bones mapped to the body. The face runs on a switch layer.

I used an audio file from an old film I did. It seemed to fit the character for this test.

Still some issues with it, but it's coming together! Here you go, my fellow bros. Watch it and digest every frame as it's a breathtaking masterpiece...

During my time making tutorials, I received a lot of requests on how to do a head turn. I thought about showing my method in a video tutorial, but it's still a bit unrefined.

The attached video shows a short example of this rig. I mapped all the facial assets to a smart bone. I did this for turning the head to the right. Then, I cheated by copying the same actions over to a second dial and then flipped the head during this action to create the second turn. No animating the head twice. You can see this in the video when I activate the left turn a few times. The head does a slight jump. During my tests, especially when running on 2s, it didn't seem to be a noticeable issue.

Do you guys have any techniques you'd like to share regarding head turns?

This is a brief test to demonstrate motion and the general aesthetic for an upcoming project using Anime Studio 10.

An animation test I did over the weekend (playing with a new workflow). In the middle of planning a new course, I decided to have a little fun. An updated character design for an old series I did years ago.

Still working out some kinks.  Workflow is a bit bloated.  Let me know what you think!

Software used: Apple Notes (iPad Pro), Adobe Draw (iPad Pro), Adobe Photoshop, #AnimeStudioPro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
