The 3D Pi Bracelet is here...
I designed a general way to link parts specifically for chaining them together. This design was the best I could come up with so far for making it easy to snap parts together while still giving a firm connection that wouldn't...

The board has a bunch of stackable add-on shields, which give it a relay, a 128x32 graphical LCD display, and depending on how much we get funded, an SD card slot and 4 additional ADC channels.  It also has a 32 Mbit flash, which is 8x larger than the 4 Mbit flash on most of the boards I have seen.  We also have a pretty cool bootloader that serves up an onboard configuration webpage, which lets you connect the board using a router-style interface.  And you can manipulate the pins from it, so you can control things over WiFi without having to write any code.  Check out our video for more info, and please let us know if you have questions!

This is a line of alien action figures made via 3D printing using my latest incarnation of ball joints. This not only made the figures a lot sturdier then previous 3D printed ones, it also meant I could reduce their size a little bit bringing them to 6 inch scale.  Furthermore since the ball joints can be plugged in I no longer have seams at the side of the figure. The figures were modelled in Modo and printed on a Stratasys Mojo. The figures are assembled via simple plugs and then hand painted by me.

Why not just make your own solenoid, wind the coil, make a circuit to trigger it. Not to much work, or why not just make a bigger solonoid, or a seriese of them, and just go ahead and make it a rail gun! Hypersonic velocity railgun!

Started with a trebuchet, and ended up with a hypersonic velocity rail gun!

;-) :-P
