Raspberry PI and the Neo 6M GPS module, inexpensive fun! - http://arduinotronics.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-raspberry-pi-and-neo-6m-gps.html
Previously I have posted tutorials on how to interface a GPS to an Arduino, but this time I wanted to use a Raspberry Pi. Here is an easy and inexpensive Instructable I have posted, and expansion into other projects will follow. http://www.instructables.com/id/Raspberry-Pi-the-Neo-6M-GPS/ ...

Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong here?
it is a Python/OpenCV script that detects a face and then draws a square around it. But there is no square drawn!

import cv2
import sys
cascPath = "/haarcascades/haarcascade_frontalface_default.xml"
faceCascade = cv2.CascadeClassifier(cascPath)
video_capture = cv2.VideoCapture(0)
while True:
    # Capture frame-by-frame
    ret, frame = video_capture.read()
    gray = cv2.cvtColor(frame, cv2.COLOR_BGR2GRAY)
    faces = faceCascade.detectMultiScale(
        gray,
        scaleFactor=1.1,
        minNeighbors=5,
        minSize=(30, 30),
        flags=cv2.cv.CV_HAAR_SCALE_IMAGE
    )

trovati=foto.findHaarFeatures('face.xml')
if trovati:
for trovato in trovati:
print "Trovato all coordinate : " + str(trovato.coordinates())
trovato.draw()

    # Draw a rectangle around the faces
    for (x, y, w, h) in faces:
        cv2.rectangle(frame, (x, y), (x+w, y+h), (0, 255, 0), 2)
    # Display the resulting frame
    cv2.imshow('Video', frame)
    if cv2.waitKey(1) & 0xFF == ord('q'):
        break
# When everything is done, release the capture
video_capture.release()
cv2.destroyAllWindows()

I believe those values are obtained from the findHaarFeatures. They seem to be the face's width and height in pixels?

For the other values: i guess it's right, but i copied the code from the internet....

Is there anyone who has OpenCV working with the RasPi Camera module?

If so, could you make an backup image and share it with me? I'm having terrible difficulties with installing opencv from source and hope that a ready (copied) image will work.

Comimg up: Review of the Sainsmart RasPi NOIR camera module.

Here's my problem with the raspberry pi: it is very particular about having a pristine SD card, while also quite adept at damaging SD cards.

Does anyone know how to use/start Myrobotlab on the raspberry pi?

I have installed it and got no errors. I also installed the needed libraries like 'ant' and 'ivy'.

But i cannot find anything executable like webgui.sh or myrobotlab.sh (wich i read should be somewhere in the program's folder).

I just got a e-mail from my friend Philip Chan, the creator of both the RoboPhilo and Philo Junior. He has now programmed the Raspberry Pi to control the Philo Junior humanoid robot! He also added the Pi Camera to the robot! ...

Thank you! I wanted to do it permanently though. There is a config file in /etc/uv4l/ where you can set all these options.
Thank you for your help though!

In the true, the hardware is very good, but the support is very weak. None Android image works in it. There is no linux driver support to the Power VR SGX 544 MP2.
