Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong here?
it is a Python/OpenCV script that detects a face and then draws a square around it. But there is no square drawn!

import cv2
import sys
cascPath = "/haarcascades/haarcascade_frontalface_default.xml"
faceCascade = cv2.CascadeClassifier(cascPath)
video_capture = cv2.VideoCapture(0)
while True:
    # Capture frame-by-frame
    ret, frame = video_capture.read()
    gray = cv2.cvtColor(frame, cv2.COLOR_BGR2GRAY)
    faces = faceCascade.detectMultiScale(
        gray,
        scaleFactor=1.1,
        minNeighbors=5,
        minSize=(30, 30),
        flags=cv2.cv.CV_HAAR_SCALE_IMAGE
    )

trovati=foto.findHaarFeatures('face.xml')
if trovati:
for trovato in trovati:
print "Trovato all coordinate : " + str(trovato.coordinates())
trovato.draw()

    # Draw a rectangle around the faces
    for (x, y, w, h) in faces:
        cv2.rectangle(frame, (x, y), (x+w, y+h), (0, 255, 0), 2)
    # Display the resulting frame
    cv2.imshow('Video', frame)
    if cv2.waitKey(1) & 0xFF == ord('q'):
        break
# When everything is done, release the capture
video_capture.release()
cv2.destroyAllWindows()

I believe those values are obtained from the findHaarFeatures. They seem to be the face's width and height in pixels?

For the other values: i guess it's right, but i copied the code from the internet....

In the true, the hardware is very good, but the support is very weak. None Android image works in it. There is no linux driver support to the Power VR SGX 544 MP2.

Thinking about it..maybe connect to my calendar and keep the beer less cold when I'm away (at work or vacation), so conserve energy and adjust the temperature when I'm present in the house to the outside temperature.
Warmer in winter and ice cold when it's >37°C outside.

Is there anyone who has OpenCV working with the RasPi Camera module?

If so, could you make an backup image and share it with me? I'm having terrible difficulties with installing opencv from source and hope that a ready (copied) image will work.
