Hi, I needed a simple media player that my son can understand. I could not find a commercial solution, so I built one based on a raspberry

Admit it. Few things in this world bother you more than when someone opens up your favorite box of Girl Scout cookies and starts devouring that luscious goodness that you look forward to all year. You brainstorm for hours and hours trying figure out where to hide your Somoas, Trefoils, and Thin Mints so no [&hellip

I need help! I have a raspberry pi that has a pitft display. It runs the program that controlls my cnc.

This software has a build in webserver that has some buttons. This, i want to display on the pitft. No problem, this works.

Now i want to be able to log in over XRDP (remote desktop protocol) and have the cnc software startup automaticly when the XRDP-server starts. But i want it to be only visible on the XRDP session and not on the pitft screen (wich only displays the buttons), so it needs to be started even before i log into the XRDP session.

Can anyone help me achieve this?

Does anyone know how i can run a script, right before the pi is shutdown. So the last task in the shutdown process. Or right before i should pull the power plug.

It's all about what you want to do with it. I like the RPi. It is commonly used and there is a lot of support for it.

If your project doesn't require a lot of processing power, the pi is a wonderfull product. 😊
