Good evening Brooklyn Tea Party members and friends.

The BTP shall hold its February meeting this coming Sunday at 1:30pm. The location is the Brooklyn Public Library located at 2115 Ocean Ave. near Kings Highway. The meeting time will be 1:30-3:30pm and we will be located on the second floor's reading room.

On the schedule for the meeting will be the election for the newly minted Treasurer post. We will also discuss the upcoming presidential primary, swear in the newly elected officers from the previous meeting, and more.

Thanks go out to those who came to our January meeting. For those who plan on visiting with us on Sunday please bring a friend if possible. The 2016 Presidential election is still a few months away but the Presidential primary is coming upon us quickly in April. No matter who you support in the primaries we must not lose sight that come November we must defeat either liberal Hillary Clinton or socialist Bernie Sanders. Let us not turn upon ourselves because the Supreme Court, this nation, and our future hangs in the balance.

About the Tea Party, Brooklyn, NY

The Brooklyn Tea Party was founded and organized by John Press, who served as the president and leader. John led the Brooklyn Tea Party from its inception until February 2011. The enthusiasm of the members, a full-spectrum of local residents, is what makes the Brooklyn Tea Party what it is. John helped to provide all of us members with the opportunity to participate fully and express ourselves. We share common goals of returning the Country to its roots and reigning in uncontrolled growth, power and size of Government. We acknowledge the many efforts John put in and thank him for the vital leadership role that he played.
