Happy Holidays everyone!

Elections are too frequently won by people who vote out of habit and don't follow politics. How do we reach the everyday folks who don't know what's going on in Canada?

I write letters to editors of my local newspapers. From speaking to people in my community, I have found that these papers are often the only source for news that they pay attention to. I am also working on posters/flyers to put out across my riding.

It's hard to match the government in terms of advertising. They have spent hundreds of millions of dollars promoting themselves. No citizen group can afford to run television and radio ads as effectively.  But it's important for Canadians to have all the facts, not just the ones the government wants us to have.

What ideas do you have for spreading the word?
