The following was brought to my attention via +Alex Spiers https://www.theguardian.com/media-network/2015/sep/24/online-offline-personality-digital-identity?CMP=share_btn_tw which is relevant for our theme today.

Hello everybody,
Really looking forward to learning together this coming week. Please join us if you would like to find out more about flexible, open and social learning in readiness for the next academic year.

We would love to find out a little bit about you. So please share and connect with others during the week.

I am an academic developer in the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching at Manchester Metropolitan University and love experimenting and playing with pedagogical ideas through which we can explore, discover and create exciting and stimulating learning experiences with others.

I love cooking, illustrating and writing stories and hope that I will have more time for all this very soon... Oh, yes, I also love travelling to new places. How about you?

Greetings everyone! A warm welcome to the FOS community from the tropical south! I am Viv, a PhD student at Athabasca University in Canada and a distance education consultant, instructional designer, and trainer at E-connection located in São Paulo, Brazil, where I have worked for the past 16 years. I have just recently joined the FOS facilitation team and am very much looking forward to learning about your experiences, stories and practices during this week.

Hello everybody, I have attempted to capture what happened last week visually. Does this make sense to anybody? Please feel free to comment.

Thanks again for joining us last week and keep using this space, the resources and each other to continue learning and developing.

Course completion badges will all be awarded at the end of September. So plenty of time to continue collecting your FOS points until then. ;)
