Gemma Rolfe and I have been working on a padlet to look at the support that we offer our students. It was really interesting to see what we actually offer and the challenges we face.

So you suggested that we create a comic that captures our thinking around collaborative learning and community as it is developing... I think this sums it up! Whilst we're very happy collaborating, and using the online tools... sometimes it's quicker to do so when we're in the same space!

This is a really well thought through set of accessible guidelines on the use of technology in education which goes beyond the usual thinking in HEIs. Reducing barriers to access for all.

Just catching up having been off work with sick children - working in staff development we find it difficult to offer support to staff at a time that fits in with their busy schedules. Colleagues in my team developed 1minuteCPD which ran last year. A series of 1 minute digital skills videos that were posted every day. I was fortunate to author a number of posts and I was amazed how many people read and engaged with the blog and I think this was in part due to its flexibility. I was wondering whether to look at moving some of my face-to-face sessions to webinars to see if this improved participation think as people get more used to using technology we will see more and more CPD activities move online
