One Photo a Day for 365 Days

Found this morning at Typo.
Perfect for those who rarely print their photos :)
A nice solid spiral bound notebook, with one page a day.
I couldn't resist it, so now I need to dig out my packets of photo printing paper, and actually see if I can fill the book!

The juxtaposition of our city.  Looking down a lane way signs of homelessness and destitution.  A short distance at the end of that lane are some of our our high end stores and scores of people with no idea of what lies only a few feet away.

Hi all.

I mistakenly order the wrong eye cup for my camera. as a result I have a "Eye Piece (Eyecup) For Nikon D4 D3 D3s D3x D800 D700". A Replacement to the DK-19. Still in its plastic as the photos show.

Free to a good home.

I've thought the same but it wouldn't be right... I guess it is not easy getting electricity across the river - you can't use underground cables.

Autumn Workshop all money going to needy children... My friend +Julia Robertson is trying to get some basics together for some children who are leaving an abusive mother.  Next Saturday I'll run a workshop between 2pm to 4pm at the stunningly beautiful Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens for no more than three people. The cost is $100each. What do you get?

We will walk the gardens and find several interesting compositions together where we'll work through using your camera to produce some excellent images. The small number of people will mean that you will get plenty of 1:1 time as we make images together.

If you are interested in taking up this offer please PM me.

Sooooooo, foreground....not a Barry. But something intentional.

Photography is about representing a three dimensional scene in a two dimensional image. When we first start to use a camera, we tend to fixate on our subject matter, to the detriment of other elements within the scene. This makes our initial attempts look flat and two dimensional. There are a number…
