22nd March is " World Water Day"
Bala Vikasa organized rallies, sensitizing meetings, road shows etc. at more than 75 locations across the state involving thousands of community representatives.
A day to talk and Act towards conserving the very important natural resource. Water is life..... But unfortunately millions of people across the globe do not have access to safe and sufficient water. The problem is increasing at an alarming speed. Water wars are picking up between farmers, villages, districts, states and nations. It's time for us to talk on the issue and take steps at individual, family and community level for better future.

Vikasa is a non-profit organization founded in 1977 by André Gingras with the mission to support and strengthen the development process of India’s poor communities, particularly in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
This approach aims to help poor ‪#‎communities‬ take control of their destinies by building on their assets– creating model communities where everyone –women, men, widows, orphans, children– can live a better life, independent of skill level, cast or religion.
