真的吗?
Zhēn de ma?
Really? Seriously?

真的 (zhēn de) = real / true
吗 (ma) is put at the end of a sentence to express a question.

"Zhēn de ma?" is often used to express doubt or shock about something you've heard.

Zhēn de ma? Wèishéme?
真的吗? 为什么?
Really? Why?

真的吗? 你怎么知道?
Zhēn de ma? Nǐ zěnme zhīdào?
Really? How do you know that?
