WANTED DESPERATELY-A FOREVER DOG

Okay, I've been a Baltimore area suberb gal for nine years when I moved to be with my fiance. I've had health issues and at 38, we have no children. I'm not replacing pets for kids. I spoil pets more!!

Five years ago almost exactly, I was told to start looking because since we FINALLY had a Condo and trails to walk my little rescue, an abuse one year old full grown puppy that I named Miles Davis. He's a lemon Beagle. They are taller bigger and blonder than most Beagles and one of his Grand parents may have retriever. I will show you a picture.
He's always had his shots and check ups. He's die in December, another reason we want to get him a little brother so we can take them to the vet together. Okay winding up:
I'm 38, besides Miles, no children. I'm disabled now after broken backs and surgeries but I'm on one cane and walking two dogs is not a problem in fact my doctor says it's repairing my spine. I started animal activism as an early teen and went veggie then too. Much to the delight of my parents! I've marched against factories that tormented it's animals and circus's that we had got footage of them poking elephants with hot pokers to learn a routine and malnourished horses.
I am a member of seven groups now, your usual suspects The Humane Society and the ASPCA. Over the twenty five years I've written for or been involved in About fifteen groups but pigs, dolphins, dogs and elephants have an intelligence that I feel I must be the voice for. To me, animals ARE LIKE LITTLE children only, they never get the voice to say Ouch or he hits me, or something hurts in my belly. By two a toddler can say Uncle kicks me. Animals never have that ability. Ok sorry.

My other half and I have a common law situation, mainly because we can't get our mother's to agree on where and when and neither will marry without our mum's.

He is the huge Teddy Bear type. No one messes with me when they see his six foot six two right lbs coming but the secret is he's the sweetest guy. Just got his degree to be a drug councilor and should pick a place soon.

Since I picked Miles he is technically picking this one. We wanted to save one from the pound and still will if this doesn't work but he would have to see those faces and I would hear crying and Miles would hear them at a meet and greet and.... Sigh.

WHAT IS PREFERRED FOR THE FAMILY, DOG WISE

Because Miles is a rescue I've read many articles on how to do this. First day they get new food bowls I've bought to feed them ten feet apart, Miles sleeps with us and so can new dog or other dog beds we bought. Though Miles has toys, new dog and he get new toy each and new sweater each. Miles, as a beagle is pudgy. I treat often but healthy treats. He's bored often. We are hoping:
A MALE DOG
OF THIRTY LBS OR LESS
OF MIDDLING ENERGY, THEY CAN PLAY SOME THEN NAP. REPEAT LOL
THREE MONTHS TO THREE YEARS
BARKS JUST AT KNOCKING, DOOR BELL ETC.
Miles had separation anxiety we just got him to understand we will always, ALWAYS come home for him. In the car, one always stays in the car. He's spoiled but I'm not sorry here went through hell.

We want him to know he's Alpha after Daddy that we love him and the new dog too. He had never bitten. He barks at the door knock or doorbell or walking barking at a new dog. Most neighbors adore him.

WE DO NOT WANT A DOG THAT'S BEEN WITH YOU MONTHS AND MONTHS. HE WON'T BOND WITH US. WE AREN'T BREED SPECIFIC. IF HE IS A LITTLE GUY, WE WILL HOUSE TRAIN HIM.

IF YOU GOT SHOT PAPERS, I WILL REIMBURSE YOU. BUT DON'T PULL THAT REHOMING OR SELLING OF A DOG. THEY ARE FAMILY, NOT PROPERTY. BUT IF HE'S A STAY WITH NO CHIP AND NO OWNER BUT YOUR NOT DOG PEOPLE OR YOU HAVE A FRIEND THAT HAS A DOG LIKE THIS IN THE BALTIMORE SUBERB, PLEASE, DON'T TAKE HIM TO THE POUND. WE OFFER A FOREVER, LOVING, ANIMAL LOVING, PICTURE UPDATE GIVING HOME!!!
