NHS pressures and social care funding short-falls mean that more and more of our vulnerable people in society cannot depend on the state meeting their care needs. There is a choice, thankfully, but not enough people know that a carer can come and live with them in their own home, providing 24/7 care when and in the manner you want it. Please help us spread this message and remember that you have options open to you.

As part of our campaign we would like to share our website with you for feedback, please just email us with any comments that you have. www.ip-live-in-care.co.uk

We would like to share with you our efforts to increase the awareness of Live in Care throughout the UK as an alternative to a care home or residential unit admission. We will use this space to post useful information on a range of clinical conditions such as dementia, stroke, multiple sclerosis and parkinson's disease, to name a few topic areas. We consider ourselves to be one of the best if not the very best live in care agency as we are clinically led and directed by leaders with talent and long experience of managing community services within the NHS at very senior levels.

We would like to share with you a lovely compliment received very recently from a daughter whose mother is receiving Live in Care from us in Hampshire, the South of England

Good afternoon Kerry

Having read the latest Independent People newsletter I see that staff can be nominated for an "Applause Award". We would like to nominate [Live in Carer] who is looking after [Name]. She has been an absolute angel in the way she has cared for Mum. She treats her as though she is her own Mum and nothing is too much trouble. She is so kind, caring, gentle and loving towards Mum in everything she does and goes the extra mile to ensure Mum is comfortable. It has not been easy for her looking after Mum as Mum's condition has deteriorated considerably during the time [Live in Carer] has been with Mum but this has not phased her at all. She just continues to attend to Mum as she always has done. She keeps the house beautifully clean, tidy and organised just like Mum used to and it is so nice to walk into the bungalow to see it looking like this. The most important thing is Mum is extremely content with [Carer] looking after her and is always keen for her to return after any break. She is a huge asset to your company and we truly believe she deserves an Applause Award for all her hard work doing live in carer.

With many thanks for providing such a loving caring worker to be with Mum

Best wishes
