To wrap up 2016 and look ahead to 2017, share one online "gift" with colleagues in your #INeLearn Community of Practice. It could be a lesson, a resource, a blog post, or anything else you think might be helpful for a peer in your content area or grade level. You can share something you created or that you found and have used.

I'm looking for some good social studies apps or websites to use with students in grades 7-8

You are invited to join the #INeLearn  Twitter Chat this Thursday at 9e/8c p.m. Our discussion will be on the new IN K-8 Computer Science standards which go into effect next school year.

Hello all, this question is not directly social studies related, but our middle school is working on redoing our entire schedule and I wondered if anyone be willing to share the basics of their school schedules or their school's schedule.  Thank you!

Hi!  I am new to this community, and the wonderful world of ISTEP!  Does anyone have any good resources to prep my 7th grade Eastern Hemisphere students?

6th graders love @Symbaloo @SymbalooEDU! Here's a Renaissance/Age of Exploration mix from SS6.  http://www.symbaloo.com/mix/socialstudies612

I created it to help with E-Learning assignments last winter- the bottom right corner in blue is all Age of Exploration, but the rest are Renaissance & Scientific Revolution sites for students to play and explore. We are using it for extra time in class this year.

Symbaloo is a great resource for helping to organize sites for students- easier for the I-pad generation than the actual links. We use it for each unit!
