CHOCOLATE DREAM- Tulia Bhai

Music has always been the soundtrack of Tulia Bhai’s life. It has been the shorthand of his emotion. He loves to sing ‘Bhajans’ with the kids of the village but always had a dream to perform Live in front of an audience.
He was introduced to Dr Shruti Mohapatra (disability activist) and got a chance to perform live in the 13th Anjali National Childern Festival.

His Magical voice impressed many including the famous sand artist Sudarshan Pattnaik. It was a thrilling experience for him.

Dr Pratap Kumar Pradhan ( Papa ), Dr J Nayak (Mummy) & Biswajit Mahapatra (Runners up Voice of Odisha 2013) took part in the ceremony and distributed the Tie, Belt and Id Card (donated by Chocolate Group) among the students.

Students had a great time as they were enlightened by Papa & Mummy's inspiring words and also were entertained by Biswajit's Interactive short musical session.

It was a memorable day for me too because my small dream initiative (Chocolate Group) formally took its first step with my Parents Blessings

School Musical Unite

United we Stand, Divided we Fall

Years back when Govt. Primary school lacked basic facilities & teachers, Eminent People of the Village decided to open a private English medium School rather than developing the Standard of Primary school.

The Muslim community opened up their own school & even Govt. High school started its own primary section later on.
"The students were segregated by the society " based on their community and standard.

But on 69th Independence Day, after years of estrangement Chocolate Group & Govt. Primary school decided to take a small step towards amalgamating the Schools through a Musical Program - "School Musical Unite" performed by Biswajit Mahapatra (Runners up Voice of Odisha 2013) & Prabhu Bhai (Singer, Composer, Bass guitarist & Creative personnel at Aumeen, Music Industry)
It was great to see students with multicolored uniforms intermingling with each other and enjoying the Musical Performance.

We hope if we could bring the kids together, people would also come together someday for the betterment of Mendhasal.

Govt. Primary School Mendhasal, is the Oldest and the most unattended school of Mendhasal. No Electricity, No Boundary, and only 54 students in total (From Class 1 to 5). But, i must say these Kids are quite talented.

They belong to Poor families and cant afford to study in Private English Medium just opposite to their school.

Therefore, Chocolate group has taken its 1st initiative to Educate and Empower the students of the school & provide them with all necessary help.

Time To Play

Sports is an integral part of a students life especially in their school days and is very similar to the experiences of Life.
It not only edifies you to compete, fight and win but also prepares you to handle the bitter taste of failure. ( My personal experience)
The kids were on cloud 9 when they realized that their handmade broken wooden piece bat is replaced by a proper "Cricket Bat"

Thanks to Uttam Bhai & his "Sports Lawn"
to support us and provide us with so many different sports items.

Batu's Winning Story:

"LET THE PURITY & INNOCENCE OF THE CHILD BE YOUR ONE AND ONLY RELIGION".
The line above explains a lot about Balabhadra Behera's (Batu) winning story. Recently he had participated in an art competition organised by "Swabhiman" in Redcross Bhawan, BBSR, along with several other students of various well known school like DAV cs pur, KV, Mothers, DPS etc. They were asked to paint their imagination on various religious festival celebrated in India. All of them drew beautiful sceneries of celebrations and festivity. But Batu stood out in the crowd as he drew a TENNIS COURT under the given topic. Which was out of question, but the judge(Mr. Adawaita Gadanayak) interpreted his drawing as an 'OUTCOME OF INNOCENCE'. He was unable to discriminate among the religion. He drew his heart out without any intention to compete. And eventually this act of innocence bagged him first prize in the art competition.
