I'll definitely have to check this movie out.

Freaking Lorenzo Lamas chewing the scenery. Amazingly bad girl power vampire movie.

I just finished "World War Z"  for the first time. As a movie, it's okay I guess, maybe a C+. It's not very scary except in some very brief moments in the 3rd act. The character development is better than most horror films, which is it's one saving grace. However, as an adaptation of a preexisting work, it's getting a solid "F."

The novel was one of the most gripping books I had ever read. I'm well aware of the novel's structure. Some say it's unfilmable. Wrong. There was enough material in that novel to create half a dozen movies based on individual character's stories that would have been far more faithful than this in-name-only adaptation pulled off.

The movie, as it is, feels like more like a poor adaptation of the events leading up to "28 Days Later." They cut The Battle of Yonkers, one of the most compelling and dire parts of the entire book.

What were they thinking? #zombies #worldwarz #horrormovies

The 2011 horror film, Apartment 143, is another in a long line of "found footage" films that tries to capture the thrill people had while watching the original Paranormal Activity.

My major problem with the film was that the skeptical scientist is denying some pretty obvious things right before his eyes, all the way until the final scenes of the film. I'm not sure if they originally intended to have so many special effects, but there's a disconnect. If you see all that stuff flying around, you're going to believe. #foundfootage #horrormovies #horror #independentfilm

Amazing.

This was an awful, awful, lazy knock off of Zombieland. I'd say something clever and witty about it, but then that statement would be a thousand times better than the movie...

Oh wait, well there you go.

I forgot how amazing this was. It's basically "The Gang Makes Lethal Weapon 6" before It's Always Sunny did it.

This was the only part of the movie that really bothered me.

Billy Zane was the best part of this horror movie, almost as good at Barry Bostwick in "Blast Vegas."
