Hey guys, this is a new organization that I was made aware of through my contacts at Bridgestone. The founding group is really interested in getting women of all backgrounds, job levels, career paths, etc. involved in this philanthropic initiative. See the description below. If you'd like to go with me to the next informational session, which is at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 14, please let me know.

Impact Nashville is a philanthropic non-profit organization based on a women's giving circle model.  We are composed of women members who live in the Greater Nashville Area. Our Purpose is to create a greater Nashville through empowering women to invest collectively in our community and to improve the capabilities of non-profits dedicated to the Greater Nashville area.

Each member contributes $1000 in membership fees, which are combined directly into large grant dollars that are awarded to non-profit organizations that serve Greater Nashville through a competitive grant process run by member volunteers. Each woman gives the same amount, and each woman has equal voting power in who wins our grant dollars.

Our long term aspiration is to grow to 500 members and award five $100,000 grants annually.  We are kicking-off in 2015, our first year of Impact Nashville, with a goal of achieving 50 members to create two $25,000 grants.

We invite you to learn more about Impact Nashville (a new sister of Impact Austin) by attending one of our Happy Hours hosted by our Board Members, who are the first six official contributing members to Impact Nashville! We will be accepting membership fees at our events and have a few prize drawings for those who join.
