[New Course Announcement] Enrollment is now open for Designers for Learning's latest professional development course! Check out our new Design in the Open Challenge at

This self-paced independent study experience was inspired by Austin Kleon's Show your Work: 10 ways to share your creativity and get discovered. As you start the new year, network with others as you undertake short challenges geared toward expanding your professional presence in your field, and contemplate various perspectives on how to develop an open work process from those walking the talk, including:

: Kristin Anthony, Learning Experience (LX) designer
: Tonia Dousay, Assistant Professor of Learning Sciences at University of Idaho
: Jeff Goumas, Founding Director & President at CrowdED Learning
: Christy Tucker, Learning Design Consultant with Syniad Learning

Beyond taking the right coursework and knowing the latest tools and technologies, we believe it’s necessary to spend time cultivating a professional presence within your chosen field. Landing a job involves far more than assembling your work examples within a portfolio. It's also necessary to openly engage in your field to give others the opportunity to know you and how you work. Join us to share your voice and stake a claim in your field!
