There's a new one-way BTM (bitcoin ATM) in Manchester at The Corner Store, 94 Grosvenor Street.  It's near the Sugden Sports Centre and the bar Sandbar.  I think The Corner Store opening times are from noon until midnight seven days a week.  It's operated by +SatoshiPoint

The new bitcoin accepting coffee shop on Chapel Street.  They're going to offer pop up restaurants in the evenings.  I think they start accepting bitcoin in about four weeks time iirc.

The comment "With infinite scalability…" made me laugh – he clearly hasn't been following the blocksize limit debate :)

Please note, there's no meetup at +MadLab / +MadLab Office tomorrow. (Not sure which is the correct Google+ account for MadLab, both are very quiet.) If you have any suggestions for future talk topics please drop us a line and we'll soon what we can organise. We've had some excellent speakers already this year so we'd like to keep it up!

+SatoshiPoint is the company running the ATM in CellCity on Piccadilly, of course :-)
Bitcoin ATM operator SatoshiPoint is now backed by two experienced Angel investors, including Alistair Milne (an investor in several Bitcoin startups and manager of the Altana Digital Currency Fund).

"After meeting many business owners in Athens over the last few days it has become evident that imports are as much of an issue as exports. Due to restriction placed on Greek businesses by capital controls importers have been unable to pay for goods and services outside of the Greek economic area."

I've just told my dad as the business where he works often buys plants and trees from EU countries.  I know they sometimes get wagons from Italy loaded with plants and trees.  It may be useful to them if they wanted to place an order with a Greek nursery.
