Our Prophet’s hadiths concerning Mahdi

Our Prophet (pbuh) says that strife will enfold the world in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). He says that only believers in Medina, meaning Istanbul, will find true salvation. Because, he says, only they will be left as true Muslims, because they will have followed the Mahdi, the true caliph.

On page 257 of the work by Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rasul al-Barzanji, our Prophet  says that the followers of the Mahdi will have a deeper faith.

Our Prophet (pbuh)says that the death of someone who fails to recognize the Mahdi, even though he is present, or who recognizes him but does not follow him, will be like the death of the ignorant. Look, he describes the death of someone who fails to recognize the Mahdi, the true caliph, even though he is present, or who recognizes him but does not follow him.  Recognition. He always concentrates on recognition. Recognizing him through the light of faith, in other words. But the position of people who recognize him through the light of faith is different to that of those who do not recognize him. But our Prophet that the death of people who do not recognize the Mahdi, even though he is present, or who recognize him and do not devote themselves to him, will be like the death of the ignorant, like death in the society of ignorance. That is what he means by the faith returning to Medina. That is to say, he will withdraw from there, our Prophet (pbuh) says, and then come back. And the caliphate really did depart from Istanbul.

...The Islamic world is fragmented and has no leader...
...Our Prophet (pbuh) says that the Islamic world will again be in the same place, that it will flourish again.
...Look, the faith will first depart from Medina, and then a time will come when it returns. In other words, our Prophet (pbuh) is saying that the spirit that united the Islamic world will depart, but will later return to the same place. It will return to where it had been before.

Muslim Peace Force Needed

With the 55,000 photographs that emerged prior to the Geneva talks , photos which clearly showed that the Assad regime  tortured people to death in its prisons, the idea that the regime and its human rights violations  have to be stopped has again become a matter of public discussion.

Of course these photographs are important evidence in proving the atrocities committed by the regime. However, we must not forget that the same regime oppressed the Syrian people long before there was a civil war in Syria and even before Bashar Assad himself came to power; it is not the first time that the Ba'athist ideology unleashed a bloodbath. According to the latest data from the International Rescue Committee, nine million people in Syria have had to abandon their homes since 2011: Six million of these are living as refugees inside and outside the country. Among the female refugees, 41,000 of the women who left Syria were pregnant. 30,000 doctors were forced to leave the country and approximately 500 healthcare professionals are in jail. The fact that Assad’s forces are constantly besieging villages and districts, using crude barrel bombs and engaging in a policy of mass slaughter making no allowances for women, children and the elderly has been demonstrated time and time again. Most recently, epidemics have begun appearing among innocent people deprived of medical aid.

Even though there is still a geographic location referred to as Syria, it is no longer possible to speak of a Syrian state; the Syria with thousands of years of history that once stood on trade routes no longer exists. It is impossible to speak of any healthy industry in a Syria in which its best known historical artifacts have been destroyed, buildings  have been ruined wholesale and the vast majority of the infrastructure and transport system has disappeared. An 80% decline in all industrial production across the state has been reported since 2011, but the true figure is said to be 90%. Assad, who is still trying to cling to his throne  under pressure from the Ba’ath regime, or perhaps from fear for his own life, is simply trying to keep breathing inside a single house on a steep hill. The people known as the Syrian people have become little more than a group of refugees trying to survive under terribly harsh conditions in tent cities in surrounding countries.

The idea of a “Western intervention against Syria,’’ which entered the agenda after Assad’s use of sarin gas, is clearly never going to achieve the desired result. The crude nature of the methods being proposed by the USA and other Western states, which generally harbor good intentions such as getting aid to the people in the region or finding a swift solution to the crisis, may lead to even greater losses among people already weakened and trapped in a tiny corner of Syria and inflict even worse conditions on them.

However, the human drama in Syria obviously needs a solution. That solution is for Muslim states to unite, irrespective of sect, and enter Syria from every point possible. If all the Muslim states, whether close to the region or not, establish a peace force by sending just one battalion each, that Muslim peace force will create a psychological climate in which Assad’s already demoralized units will be unable to resist. Peace- keeping forces armed for security reasons can enter Syria from 70 different points, take control of the state of emergency and bring stability to Syria, after which they can leave Syria again without having given anyone so much as a nosebleed. This force, the result of many states coming together, will not create any considerable economic problem for the countries involved. Supervision of the Muslim peace-keeoing force by the U.S. and EU forces will also have a calming effect on world public opinion.

Examples of this have been seen in the past. Following Milosevic’s attempted ethnic cleansing and massacre of the Muslim population of Kosovo  in 1998, NATO units entered Kosovo on June 12, 1999, in the largest ground operation undertaken in Europe since the Second World War; the U.N. placed the region under its control until Kosovo became independent. Milosevic knew he could not withstand all those NATO units and immediately withdrew from Kosovo without the loss of a single life in the ground operation.

Is this the only such instance in history? Of course not. God speaks of the armies of Solomon in the Koran. Solomon had the largest military force of the time, and since they knew they would be unable to defeat it, no other state went to war with it. Solomon’s possession of this military strength stemmed from his being on the side, not of war, but of peace; that army was a deterrent force founded, not to wage war or shed blood, but to build peace. Solomon knew that no wicked community could withstand that force and that there would be no need to fight, given that he was in possession of it. He was also a prophet who would, quite literally, not hurt an ant. God reveals this superior moral virtue by describing in the Koran how Solomon told his armies to step off the road in order to avoid crushing a female ant.

It is essential for Muslim states to come together and discharge the duty of establishing peace so the Syrian people do not suffer any further, and so this crisis that is troubling the conscience of the world can be resolved. Any other course of action may give rise to undesirable consequences, both for those states wishing to intervene and for the people of Syria. In order to put a swift end to the suffering of innocent people, Muslims must set aside their differences of opinion and prove themselves capable of acting together.

A ‘Muslim Union’ is the need of the hour

In the current global scenario, a country cannot live in isolation. The world has literally been transformed into a global village wherein interests of various countries are intertwined. This is the very reason behind formation of several international unions so as to enable various countries help coordinate with each other effectively for mutual gains.

Numerous international organizations such as the United Nations founded on the heels of the World War II, the European Union founded during the Cold War, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (renamed Organization of Islamic Cooperation), the Arab League, the Warsaw Pact (reformed as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization), NATO and the Socialist International are all active within the framework of their own policies.

Unfortunately, none of these organizations have so far succeeded in weeding out evils from the world. The only rational thing to do is therefore for people who espouse goodness; love and affection get united against those groups that are allied with evil. For years, materialist and imperialist currents have led to wars, occupations and destruction and still pose a great threat to humanity.

If the Islamic world wished to emerge as a power, stable and prosperous bloc among the comity of nations, it must act as one.

The importance of unity has become more important in the current scenario. Absence of unity is preventing a common voice being heard from the Islamic world. These divides have left innocent Muslims at the mercy of others and literally unprotected. Helpless women, children and old people in many countries like Syria, Palestine, Bangladesh, and Myanmar etc. are all waiting for their brethren to save them from persecution. These innocent people are the responsibility of the Islamic world more than anyone else.

We must not forget that Islam orders Muslims to forge unity among their ranks. And Allah has ordered Muslims to strive together if they are wronged.

We need to wage an intellectual struggle and get united against injustice and violence of human rights. It is high time Muslims formed an alliance on the lines of the European Union envisaging broader economic, political, military, social and cultural collaboration. If one studies the idea carefully, he/she would be surprised that the geostrategic location of the entire Muslim bloc makes the idea viable and easy to implement and if we pool all our resources and ease trade and travel regimens, the results will be beyond our imaginations. We will have an edge over all such unions, as ours will be a union of love, friendship and willingness. In that respect, the Islamic Union will be a grand union of peace envied by all.

All the Muslim countries that join the Islamic Union must promise to respect the independence, equality and sovereignty of the states in their common territory. In this way, member countries will maintain their own state structures but be able to act as a common and single nation toward the outside world on those matters on which they agree to collaborate. Member states should be independent in their internal affairs, and must encourage resolution of disagreements through peaceful means. Protection of minorities as commanded by Islam should be ensured to gain respect worldwide. Of course, the tolerance inherent in Islam, meaning peace, and the conception of love and union of the Age of Felicity when our Holy Prophet (pbuh) was alive will be the reference points for the establishment of the fundamental principles of this union.

The OIC with its 57 member states has been active since 1969. In its present form, however, the organization is far from possessing the characteristics of this union of love we just proposed. Despite the fact that it is the world’s second largest organization of its kind after the United Nations, the effectiveness of this conglomeration is still questionable.

It was founded to resolve the problems of 1.6 billion Muslims and establish cooperation among countries. Unfortunately, it has miserably failed in resolving issues facing the Muslim world or in emerging as a strong voice supporting Muslim causes.

In the wake of the unrest in various Muslim countries in the Middle East, foreign powers had to fill the gap of authority and power and intervene to resolve the internal issues of the Muslim world. This is very saddening.

What needs to be done is the immediate establishment of a voluntary union that resolves problems, and looks to the development issues and problem resolution on a constant basis rather than just meeting once a year. It is time to act together to build an Islamic territory in which Muslims live in peace and tranquility in Islamic cities constructed with artistry, in which quality of life is raised to the highest possible level and where all of us embrace each other wholeheartedly. This is perhaps the only way to get rid of the negative impact of the so-called spring that has marred all prospects of peace and prosperity in the Muslim world.

Adnan Oktar Says: Yes to Love, No to Hatred

They are the only reason why God allows the world to go on. The world survives just for the sake of them. It is the reason why the Day of Judgment is not breaking loose. For example, those people are visible in Turkey like beacons of light. They are also seen in the  USA like that as well; beacons of light, although few in numbers. God keeps this world going only for their sake. After a while, their numbers will increase and that light will cover everywhere. Then they will slowly dim, and then some more, and then they will be completely out, and when the world is enveloped in complete darkness, the world will just be shattered. In other words, there will be no reason left for the world to continue.

People of belief, as a manifestation of their beautiful love for God, carry a beautiful spirit and attitude. Otherwise, the world would have been perished long time ago. In other words, the world is still alive, but not for the vile people, not for the loveless, brutal, war-mongers. Do they want to shed blood? Then God says: ‘Leave that to me’. God says: ‘Does everyone want blood, does everyone want wars, tears, pain, death, hatred? Then’ says Almighty God. ‘I will end it once and for all’ and He sends  Day of Judgment . God explains in the Qur'an, ‘On that day, even the children will turn gray’. The children die and as a miracle, their hair turns white and shines like light. God says: “ will think people drunk when they are not drunk”. Because they won’t be able to make coherent sentences, they will try to speak, but they won’t make any sense, they will be overwhelmed with fear. But wasn't that what they always wanted? God says ‘I will give them what they wanted all along’.

So, when the majority of  Muslims want Islamic Union, God will give them that. God gives everyone what they want. For instance, the unbelievers say: ‘We want blood, war, pain’. God says: ‘Granted’ and God gives them what they want. They say: ‘We want hell, we like darkness, evolution created us, that’s the kind of world we want’. Hell is a place that completely fits this description of theirs. It will be full of freakish creatures, like they have some genetic disorders. Everyone gets what they want. Or, sometimes, there are people who are unbelievers, but not brutal. The hell they will go to will be different. They will suffer only because they will see what they are missing when they compare their abode to Heaven. Say, he is a harmless, normal person that hasn't inflicted any pain on anyone, but he is an atheist.  God gives them a plain life. A monotonous, meaningless life. It is one of the layers in hell. They will be bored and tired of lovelesness, mercilessness and the constant comparison with the beauty of Heaven. That’s God’s punishment for him. But if he is a man that burned people, then God burns him. Or if he shackled believers, God will shackle him. But he will shackled for eternity.
