There will be 1 billion digital nomads by 2035.
Perhaps a bit of a guess at the figure, but we have to agree that the number will be pretty huge right?

https://levels.io/future-of-digital-nomads/
I did a presentation on the future of digital nomads (and remote workers) in the next 20 years. I used public data to show actual social and demographic trends and extrapolated them to make a guesstimate how the rise of remote workers will affect the world in 2035. It’s impossible to predict the future, but ...

Hello, we are also a digital nomad family and travel since 2014 around the world with our two years old son. We have lived in different places: 1.5 years in Costa Rica and now in Asia (Thailand (Koh Phangan), Singapore, Indonesia). We currently live on the small Indonesian island Gili Air. Are here any other families in Indonesia on the go?

Question topic: getting private liability insurance without having a permanent residency:
Does anyone have experience or information about private liability insurance (in german: "Privathaftpflichtversicherung") for families who have no permanent residency? Our issue: We are germans and have german passports, but we are not registered in Germany or any other country anymore. We hope that anybody here knows how to get such a private liability insurance. Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

LISBON: arguably, one of the best European capitals for Digital Nomads!

#portugal #remote
Lisbon is one of the best European capitals for Digital Nomads looking to get some work done. Sure, the city offers a lot of distractions, but it also welcomes those whose budget might be tighter, in a pretty comfortable way. The Portuguese capital is a welcoming mix of traditional and ...

Don’t be Afraid to Take a Chance on Your Dreams

Too many people won't take a chance, even if there is little risk.  They don't want others to perceive them as failing.  But the risk is only mental.  Don't be afraid!  It's time to take a chance and start taking steps towards achieving your dreams.

Hi Everyone,

I work for an Emmy-winning production company based in Los Angeles. We're currently looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and driven digital nomads for a new documentary television series. If selected, you will have your wanderlust on full display, with your lifestyle, businesses, causes, projects, and adventures all featured as part of your personal story. This is an exciting, aspirational trend, and we want to hear from those who live it day in and day out!. Please contact me if interested.

Not sure if I qualify as a digital nomad but I started my digital business with the goal of working from any cafe, which i have successfully done for 7 years now. I tend to move within a 100km radius and occasionally hop to another country. I am not locked to my laptop, as I have embraced the cloud and can access all my work from anywhere with an internet connection.

You have probably heard that 80% of people fail at network marketing.  Does that mean they are network marketing scams?  Let me shed some light on the topic, and reveal the hidden secret that isn't talked about for network marketing scams.

We set up a "digital nomad" house in Sri Lanka starting February 1st.

It will be a good opportunity to crush a new project, network with other entrepreneurs, and explore one of the most under-rated countries in the world!

Details here, otherwise feel free to message me with questions :D

PS each person gets their own villa with personal WIFI router.

How Digital Minimalism Kept Us Sane
A topic I know a lot of us have struggled with. When do you turn the laptop off? How do you get as much done as possible without spending your whole life connected?

We found the minimalism philosophy helped us, maybe it will for you too.

http://nomadspirit.net/digital-minimalism-kept-us-sane/
We have spoken a lot over the years about the ups and downs of running online businesses while exploring different cultures and countries. One of the biggest obstacles is that the ‘running online businesses’ bit can easily get in the way of the exploring bit. This is why you’ll find hundreds of discussions on productivity, …
