I entered the building after examaning it carefully. I was warned about going inside but I had to complete my mission. I turned the corner and saw the Hydra agents guarding the corridor. I managed to slip past unseen. That went well I muttered as I moved onto the next corridor. I caught someone following me out of the corner of my eye. I turned around to see who or what it was but there was nothing there. I ignored it and was about to go down the next corner when I heard footsteps. I could smell smoke so I turned around to find the previous corridor on fire. The fire was spreading quickly in every direction. I ran. A grenade was thrown and it rolled to my feet and it exploded within seconds. I fell to he ground and the footsteps grew nearer...

((open to anyone at all!!))

Alice has always been one of the most popular feminine given names in English-speaking countries, as well as other European countries. Its variant Alyssa has been gaining popularity in the US since the 1960s and its spelling was probably influenced by that of the alyssum flower, a flower formerly thought to cure skin diseases. The name Alyssa definitely brings a modern twist to the older name Alice, so undoubtedly intertwined with the fantasy world of peculiar creatures and no logic of Wonderland.
