Hey everyone!

I'm putting together a GLBBA post of Best Books of 2015 curated by GLBBA bloggers. If you'd like to be featured please email me (shelfaddiction@gmail.com) with one of your favorite books that you've read this year (and published in 2015). (Authors do not choose your own book). In addition to the book title and author, also include the following 3 things.

1. 1 or 2 sentences on why you like/recommend it.
2. Your blog website address.
3. Your blog sidebar sized logo.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 12/23.

If you submit for the post, I only ask that you share it across your social media once it goes live on December 31st. I'll post the link here and reply to your submission email to make it easy for everyone to share.

Who's going to BEA 2016?! I'm all booked. Let me know if you're going and we can meet up to network and maybe get a group together for a lunch or dinner.

Hey everyone! I'm looking to get our group jump started again! I have a few ideas that I want to bounce off of everyone.  Let me know you're thoughts. I'm also looking for volunteers who have a little extra time and are willing to help get these events started.

1.  GLBBA monthly blog hop/linkup for members. We'll write about book or book blogging related topics and we'll all promote, visit and comment on each other's blogs. The purpose is to give GLBBA bloggers a chance to get to know each other, follow other regional blogs, and learn about new books and blogging techniques, as well as receiving new followers to your own blog.

2. GLBBA book club.  We'll all read the same book and every 6 weeks come together and discuss the book during a Google+ Chat/YouTube live event and supplement it with everyone posting their book reviews on the same date (blog hop style). We'll vote on book suggestions and possibly rotate who'll be co-hosting the chat if we have more than one volunteer.  If we get enough participation, maybe we can get an author to join in.

3. Spring (2016) meet-up event. Our last event didn't have the attendance that we were hoping for. This time I want everyone's thoughts and suggestions.  I'd like to know what type of event you'd be willing to come or travel to (even if it’s raining).

I have a few more ideas up my sleeve, but I figure we'll just start with these.  Thanks everyone!

I'm thinking about planning a casual meet up in Michigan (Oakland County) this summer. Anyone want to meet up for dinner or drinks?
