I am looking for information:

I am looking for the optimium type of antenna for HF.  The location is  optimal for a dipole, but I have power feed lines running parallel to the area.  I can not relocate these, so the question is:
1. How far away is optimal for reduced power line noise?
2. Is distance and or angle of perdecularity factors?

I do not have the location for a large beam antenna array.

Thanks for the podcast Cale! I will miss the Fo Time moniker due to the totally out of left field reference, but understand the new branding, and it looks great!

So I was not able to support the effort to go to Dayton. I've never been myself, but maybe next year.

Quick suggestion on things to look at for the podcast while there. Jim Veatch of HobbyPCB has posted on the Softrock40 yahoo group that he is attempting to bring his new SDR kit to Hamvention. If everything goes well the kit will retail for less than 200, cover 80-10m and output 5w. Also developing a CQ QSK attachment.
If nothing else he may be a good interview of how to produce a successful product in the ham radio word/ Have a product FCC certified etc...
