Welcome to The Gaming Generation community!
Here, we hope to gather an assembly of people with a love for old-school video games and arcades. The spirit of the early videogaming generations still lives on, and devs continue to create wonderful experiences on modern consoles. Some of us chase that nostalgic spirit of gaming, and if you count yourself among our number, you are welcome in this place.
Please feel free share your joy with us and game on.

YES IT IS DONE

Finally! I've been working at this since I got the NES Classic in February. Going in blind, I only used the instruction booklet as a guide throughout, a lot more enjoyable that way. I also noticed a ton of similarities between the original Zelda and Breathe of the Wild! Being able to go anywhere in the map you wish at any level (skill allowing, of course) is just one of several. Awesome getting to see the series' roots, and the game that brought the series back to them!

So I finally got Twilight Princess HD at work a few weeks ago, really happy I got to buy it new. I initially struggled with the upgrade because already prior to that I got the GameCube incarnation for $60 and spent 20 hours on it. I have now surpassed that save, I am in the water temple currently. Completely worth it, haha! Kinda seems silly now that I was holding out.

Huh, apparently in Super Mario 64, if you grab Bowser right as he turns invisible and warps, he stays that way! Once he's flung into a bomb, his and Mario's shadow go speckled, like how Mario looks when he has the invisibility hat on.

So apparently this was the Box for PAC-MAN on Atari 400/800.
It's pretty terrible but for some reason I can't avert my eyes. I almost wish I hadn't seen it.
(Update) I now actually think the cover is kinda Rad. I retract my original statement.

Wooohoo!! I finally beat Level 6!! After acquiring the Master Magical Sword, it seems Nintendo also made the 7th dungeon a lot easier, not only being a breath of fresh air after the 6th, but it also helps make you feel like a badass. I now just finished the 8th, which came to a surprisingly abrupt end. :P I blew up a wall and there was the boss, I didn't even find the map for it, if there even was one. ONTO GANNON!!! I'm so excited I'm so close to beating the original Zelda!

Hey all ~ sorry we had a black out for several weeks, there. Apparently the Google+ app on phones, does not inform of when a community has been suspended. Some links were posted to an external hangouts group and were flagged by Google as spam that went against their policies.

But, apparently Google works quickly, and we're back!

Please keep in mind that all posts must be related to the community subject at hand; gaming! Especially in the wake of this suspension, please keep in mind that posts and comments not pertaining to this community will be deleted.

We apologize for the confusion. Game On!
