How Do You Engage Your Audience at the End of a Presentation?

Imagine you've just given a presentation to 250 people who you don't know. You want to immediately connect with them and give them a copy of your latest e-book or your contact info. How would you do it?

You could have a slide with your contact info and a link to your website and the audience could scribble it all down.

You could pass around a sign up sheet and have them put their name, email address and phone number on it. Then when you get back to your office you could enter that data in your mail program and send them an email.

Or you could simply have them take out their phones and text a simple keyword to 574-575-4444. For example, try texting the keyword "PAWDR" to 574-575-4444. msg & data rates may apply.

I would appreciate your feedback on this new tool, Text4iT, to help public speakers connect with their audiences.

Thoughts/Comments?  Thanks in advance. www.Text4iT.com

The structure was spot on. He had 3 points which he stated in the introduction and elaborated with personal insight and personal vignettes that were entertaining and thought-provoking.

Elizabeth Gilbert was once an "unpublished diner waitress," devastated by rejection letters. And yet, in the wake of the success of 'Eat, Pray, Love,' she found herself identifying strongly with her former self. With beautiful insight, Gilbert reflects on why success can be as disorienting as failure and offers a simple -- though hard -- way to carry on, regardless of outcomes.
