Want a list of Goth Youtubers? Good! Well here they are :

1) Itsblackfriday

To start off, i know some people get confused on how 'Goth' started. Briefly, i shall explain.
In the late 70s, Punk and PunkRock kicked off. Back then, Punks had slightly different sub - genres of Punk and a lot of the lyrics expressed anger and emotions about the world and what was going on at the time. Punk bands included The Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Damned and The Clash.

When it came to the 80s Post Punk was created as a variation of the punk in the late 70s. The lyrics became more melancholy and a lot of bands used their lyrics to discuss 'death' and the ACTUAL REALITY of life - Many saw this as 'depressing' and 'negative' because they discussed personal emotions about life and death and reality of things.

The style of clothing slightly changed but when 'goth' started, Goths looked like punks and they had Mohawks (which later evolved into the deathhawk!). New post-punk bands were born such as Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division and Bauhaus. Then of course, new styles of Goth rock were created and we got bands such as Sisters Of Mercy, The Cure and Christian Death. From that point, artists created their own look to suit them and their style of music, hence why we have different categories in the Gothic Subculture.

Hi there! My name is JackBlackJordan and i would like to create a community for the 'experienced' goths and for the new BabyBats that are just figuring their way round the goth subculture. The intention of this community is to get people to discuss their interests and what they are into (In the Goth Subculture) and for people to find out about new bands and whatever!

No bullying or negative comments will be tolerated and anyone causing upset through the comments will be band. Enjoy and Thanks! :)
