Hi! Welcome to this community! Basically, we share pictures of beautiful places (both rural and urban) and give some background info. What is great about this is that everyone has a different perception of a "beautiful place", so you'll see a variety of landscapes and places. So please feel free to post any place you want to share!

Use this map ( https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?hl=en&authuser=0&mid=1hdiuwXanwJnONGOLsqn6sGdznmQ )to find out any featured places near you. It will be updated regularly.

Lastly, please don't copy off of someone else's work. Remember to check the copyright permissions to make sure you are allowed to use it. If you don't know how to do this, but want to share a place, comment it below. Please cite the author (unless it's your own work! :) ) and follow the same format used on every post. Also, keep the description short. Thanks and enjoy!

Lake Pichola
Located in Udaipur, India, this marvelous lake was where Maharana Udai Singh chose to build his City Palace here in 1559. Best views are when the sun is setting and the area is silhouetted.
