I was reading over the featured review of Eldrtich by "Endzeitgeist" (http://endzeitgeist.com/) and I really appreciated his fairness, and his ability to remove personal bias from a review. Was there stuff about Eldritch RPG he didn't like? Yes, but there was one point he made several times about our system that really stood out, and that's when he wrote, "This is perhaps one of the most easily customizable systems I've seen in quite a while."
Most GMs I know enjoy reading about and learning different systems, and most like to tinker with rules. Well, if you are of that sort, Endzeitgeist had this to say: "anyone halfway versed in crunch-design or houseruling material can customize the hell out of this system..."
So, I thought, what if we create a new line of product that really showcases the flexibility of the core system? Endzeitgeist wrote, "ERP is ridiculously easy to learn once you have someone explain it to you", and so Eric Bergeron and I have decided to put out two new settings, both tailored to iterations of this game system that may surprise you, but always remains at it's core a system that is "extremely customizable and makes defense worthwhile while providing a combat that is streamlined".
More information soon...

The first 5E Adventure conversion in the world of Ainerêve, from Crossroads Games! It's my hope that this will bring some more people into the Crossroads store, since I'm still a little fish in a big ol' pond.

Here's a spell grimoire download for your pleasure, compliments of our colleague Joseph Wolf. One of the strengths of Eldritch Role Playing is its improvisational magic system. This sheet allows one to track spells both learned and created on the fly. http://bit.ly/2rTXb94

So I haven't been able to game with people but I have been doing some solo gaming using the Fiendish Abilities optional rules. If you haven't seen them they make a change to the way you make ability changes without being an entirely new system.
Has anyone else been using them? Or at least looked at them? They are intended to be used for NPC's but I like the way they change my thinking when making PC's. I will say your characters will be more frail but I am okay with that. I am curious if they way I am using the magic system is correct though. It seems you can be pretty wide ranging for relatively little point expenditure. The mage I am using has Aptitude D6 > Magical Ability +2 and specialties in Invocation and Elementalism giving him a D6+4 for a ton of spells in the book many with a NN of 4. So as long as he doesn't roll a 1 he'll succeed. This is neither good nor bad I just seem to remember struggling more with the full ADC's to get a mage that could cast spells with a decent chance to succeed.

I am almost tempted to join Facebook for updates but there are too many people on it I don't want to deal with <sigh>. What lead to the change in ADC? Just curious not outraged or anything.
