This is a picture of one of my cats (Zoey). She is very tolerate of me and my camera. This was taken with a Canon 5d Mk II and a Canon EF 100mm lens. I used two studio flashes; one to the left (45 degrees) and one to the right (45 degrees). You can see the softboxes in her eyes; one is an octagon and the other is rectangle.

In today’s feature post authored by Mrs. Toad herself, we get to spend a little time with a local Cowichan Valley artisan who handcrafts the world-famous Cowichan Sweater and other wonderful items. Maude Joe shares a little of how the creations come to be, as well as discussing the history behind the items that makes them so very special.

Please visit our blog "A Gift From Our Valley To You" to read the story, see the photos and the video:

Promo Portraits Workshop in London on Sun 21st June at ProPhotocentre Studio

On Sunday  from 11am I am holding a  workshop that will teach how to  photograph promo portraits in a studio.
The workshop will be splitted in two:  half day shooting and half retouching in photoshop.
