A little about Dialectical Behavior Therapy:
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment designed specifically for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) by Dr. Marsha M. Linehan. It is a cognitive-behavioral based treatment focusing on 4 main skills sets in the areas of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Although the treatment is intended for BPD, anyone can benefit from the skills learned.
