We send our children to school to: (fill in the blank).
Fill in the blank. A preferred question format among students of all ages. But of course it has nothing on good old true/false, which requires even less original thought and offers even better odds at being correct.
... Wait a minute.
Hey School, we think you sound a little confused. And you look a little tired. But listen. That excuse doesn't work for the millions of sleep-deprived students who drag themselves through your doors five days a week. So GET YOURSELF TOGETHER. Stop pretending we need carrots to learn. We were born curious. And the carrots distract us from learning things we actually want to learn. Oh and they undermine divergent thought. And since artificial intelligence is all over convergent thought, that might just be the only way to keep our human edge.
So everyone else, let's review. If your answer to the question above was something like "prepare them for the future", follow us. We're designing a new education model. You know, one for this economy.
