Fancy a Cwtch? Of course you do, everyone does. This is a fine red ale, edging toward ruby, and one that has done well in a can. Though it is a lot more lively than when I had it on tap.

This was actually from last Sunday but I've been so busy the evenings of this week it's the first chance I've had to share it. Verdant Brewing Co Headband and, well, I don't know what it actually is - but it is fantastic. If you're lucky enough to see it, get it. You won't be disappointed.

Confused maybe, but not disappointed.

The time has rather flown by, hasn't it? Well, I was down in London this week with my father to see the British Library thing with the Russian Revolution. I had hoped to take students there. It was excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, not sure what I would have done with students, I suspect that some would have really got stuck in but there was a lot of reading and many of them may well have turned off. Glad I went, but also glad I did not take students. Oh, and yes, there's a review of the ales that I had the night before when I stopped over at my father's. Enjoy!

Divisive bugger of an ale that seems to have as many supporters as detractors. I had it with a Belgian friend who was over for a visit and they declared it fabulous and that they got their five, well four, a day from it. I also declare myself on the supporters side, it was really quite lovely.

Good evening.

Normal service is hereby resumed with a normally timed beer review of a Tuesday evening. This is a rather nice honey ale from Chatsworth. No, I didn't go myself, and thus is far more fitting for a wonderfully sunny summer's day.

Unfortunately, this wasn't it. It's been raining all day and I've been feeling bloated. Probably all the ale I've been imbibing, eh? Ah well, here's the review.

Tonight I share a review of possibly the most bizarre flavoured ale I've ever encountered.

Tonight I share the love for Verdant - about whom I have heard much but known little. It was raining so it was, of course, the perfect time to have an ale about summer.

By the way, and spoiler alert, it's beautiful.

Time to share a review!

This one was sent to me by someone I know on the Twitters as a beer swap. I'm not complaining, this was a lovely tipple and very fitting for the garden. Took me ages to write up the review though as I was about to start the mountain of marking that I signed up for as an extra. Also not complaining, I get paid for that.

In other news, my order from Wild Beer Co. came in today and I shall be discussing Breakfast of Champignons later. Because I am oh so interesting.
