Starting a Website Revamp Project

To start a website revamp project, first consider the following:

1. The primary stakeholders are on board usually partners or marketing director of your firm.

2. Someone in your company is ready and available to be the point contact person with the designers and Web developer.

3. You can allocate some time and resources to the website revamp, i.e. preparing images, proofing/editing texts, testing the website prototype, managing review and approval process internally.

Do I Need a New Website?

You need a new website if:

1. Your clients don’t award you projects because of what they’ve seen on your website.

2. You get complaints from people trying to get information or view your work on the website.

3. Your website is not responsive chances are your website is more than four years old. Instead of buying into “mobile optimization” projects, or “deflashing” your website, you may as well reimagine your website with today’s user behavior in mind. Call it a complete website revamp instead.

4. Your website loads slowly and images not very clear on today’s larger screens.

5. Updating the website feels like a big personal project due to a poor content management system (CMS) or the absence of one.

6. Your business model has changed and the website can’t be easily updated to reflect this.

This is a story that I am sure will change your approach towards life::)
The Story of an EAGLE
The Eagle has the longest life-span of its species. It can live upto 70 years.
But to reach this age, the eagle must make a very difficult decision!
In its 40th year, the eagle's long and flexible Talons can no longer grab a prey which serves as food.
Its long and sharp beak becomes bent.
Its old-aged and heavy wings, due to their thick feathers, stick to its chest and make it difficult to fly.
Then, the eagle is left with only two options: DIE or go through a painful process of CHANGE! This process lasts for 150 days (5 months)
the process requires the eagle to fly to a mountain top and sit on its nest. There the eagle knocks its beak against a rock until it plucks it out.
Then the eagle will wait for the new beak to grow back after which it will pluck out its talons. When its talons grow back, the eagle starts plucking its old aged feathers.
And after this the eagle takes its famous flight of rebirth and LIVES for 30 more years!!
Why is Change needed??? In order to survive and live. We too have to start the change process.
We sometimes need to get rid of the unpleasant old memories, negative habits and our fixed mind set. Only Freed from the past burdens can we take advantage of the present.
If an eagle can make a life saving and life changing decision at the age of 40....why can't we?
In order to take on a New Journey ahead, let go of your negative old limiting beliefs. Open up your mind and let yourself fly high like an eagle!
When it rains, all birds occupy shelter. But the EAGLE avoids the rain by flying above the clouds....problem is common to all but the attitude to solve it makes the difference!
Don't be afraid of change...accept it gracefully!

One night, just before the shopkeeper closed for the day, a dog came into the shop.

There was a bag in its mouth. The bag had a list of items to be bought and money. The shopkeeper took the money and kept the items in the bag.

Immediately, The dog picked up the bag of items and left. The shopkeeper was surprised and went behind the dog to see who the owner was.

The dog waited at the bus stop. After sometime, a bus came and the dog got into the bus. As soon as the conductor came, it moved forward to show his neck belt which had money and the address as well. The conductor took the money and put the ticket in his neck belt again.

When it reached the destination, the dog went to the front and wagged his tail indicating that he wanted to get down. The moment the bus stopped, it got down. The shopkeeper was still following it.

The dog knocked on the door of a house with its legs. Its owner came from inside and beat it with a stick.

The shocked shopkeeper asked him "why are you beating the dog?", to which the owner replied, "he disturbed my sleep. It could have taken the keys with it."

This is the truth of life. There is no end to the expectations people have from you. The moment you go wrong, they start pointing at our mistakes.

All the good done in the past are quickly forgotten. Any small mistake committed then gets magnified.

This is the nature of this material world!
