I'm a complete novice, but trying to set up an escape room for a high school senior trip...in a hotel. So we can't assume anything, can't control what's already there, can't mess about with electronics and the like. Any suggestions?

Here's a video compilation of a DIY Escape Room we did at school. We used concepts such as combination lockers & completing tasks such as stacking cups & finding clues within a limited time. Not bad for a school level project. This gave me an interest to try to do a better one in the future.

Escape the lack of inspiration. What do you think of the concept?

I've been thinking about the philosophy of escape rooms, not just as an owner but also as a player and aficionado. There's more than just recreation there. ER's are like works of art, interactive museum experiences, methods of communication, etc. The sky is the limit on the creativity of everyone involved (owners, players, friends, employees) which is probably my absolute favorite thing about them. Comments? What is your favorite aspect of this?
