So Doctors 9, 10 and 11, what's your explanation of time?

I kind of like the War Doctors grumpy response:

'Do you have to talk like children? What is it that makes you so ashamed of being a grown-up? '

Answer: Adulting is over rated :-)

Let's all thank Matt Smith for this message and for being a truly awesome Doctor. :-)
The actor says he’s not trying to “shed” his Time Lord past

So who Composed Beethoven's Fifth?

More than just a creature feature, Before the Flood combines monsters, clever story telling, good plotting and the ongoing, developing relationship between Clara and the Doctor. Before the Flood, has a dual Monster of the Week between the Ghosts and the Fisher King, which I imagine must be pretty scary for the kids.

Now, perhaps Doctor Who was this scary when I was younger but I've just forgotten how scary it was. So my question is this, given that Dr Who is no longer just a kids show and that it has legions of adults fans, how scary should Dr Who be?

I've never found it gritty or gruesome, always relying on the gruesome imagination more than on screen violence. But do you think that it has the right balance between catering to being a 'Family show' and being satisfying for the adult fans?

I wasn't a believer from the start of Capaldi's ability to take the reins of the show after Matt Smith's fabulous reign. But then I also felt the same after Matt took over from Tennant, or when David took over from Eccleston so I was open to the idea that it was simply me holding onto the current Doctor too tightly. Capaldi has certainly proven himself as being a fabulous Doctor and Before the Flood is a fine example of his skill in playing the Doctor.

Torchwood starts 2016 with a story that if summed up correctly, is a mix between Random Shoes and Out of Time with a little bit of Countrycide. Talk about an odd duck eh? Uncanny Valley proves itself to be the most unusual ep...

So here's an interesting choice for the next Doctor, whenever that may occur.

I'm open to this being an option.

A POTENTIAL future Doctor? What do you think!

I have decided to introduce a semi-regular feature here at ‘Do Daleks Dream…..’ Bring Back….. I think the title probably says it all but essentially it will be creatures/characters/planets etc that I personally would like to see make a return in modern…

they should bring them back plus bring the other 4 Guardians into a story.  The novels introduced us to the 6 Eternals, or the 6-Fold God.  Black, White, Crystal, Red, Azure and Gold Guardians.  We already saw Black and White plus we saw the Crystal Guardian although we didn't know he was an Eternal until the novels...The Celestial Toymaker.

Ok... WTF?!?! I haven't seen any of the re-runs on Netflix recently, and today I'm thinking, "Doctor Who sounds nice right now. I think I'll watch something from season 5!" And then IT'S NOT ON NETFLIX!!!!! When did this happen?!?!?!

Interesting Doctor Who facts of the day
The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, War, 9th, and 11th Doctor were all played by actors from various places in England. The 7th, 10th, and 12th are all actors from Scotland. In the show, Doctors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, War, 9, 10, and 11 spoke with an English accent (slight varying depending on where the actor came from in England, with the exception of 10 who is from Scotland). But only the 7th and 12th speak with a Scottish voice. The 10th Doctor's actor is from Scotland and has a natural Scottish accent but when he played the Doctor he talked with an English accent. The 10th spoke with a Scottish accent only once, in the episode Tooth and Claw.
