We played a fun review game in math class today called, Broken Wagon. Their Wagon broke down on their journey along "The Oregon Trail" and they had 30 minutes to answer the questions right in order to fix it. Every minute over 30 minutes they started to lose XP!

The book that changed how I teach. I am currently in the process of writing a blog and part of it is going to be about how I switched over to gamify my year long math class. Let me know what you think.

I have fully committed to gamifying my 7th grade science classroom in Lexington, Kentucky for at least a semester this next school year. I love the language of this book and would love to adopt a pirate theme for the semester. Any suggestions on quests, concepts, what to name things, characters? I have been brainstorming a lot myself but would love to hear from others who have created their own concepts!
