The SAMR model is a great way to think about technology integration. It is important to remember that you won't nor should you hit redefinition or modification in each activity. However, we need to provide these opportunities to students. Reflect on what you see on the website and think of ways that you can reach modification or redefinition. If you have reached these levels before, feel free to share your experience in the comments. #SAMR #EdTech

My class is really enjoying "Quizizz". They always look forward to playing it. For me, it's a life saver since it has hundreds of review material for both science and math. My only struggle with it is when you make your own quizzes using screen shots - they don't show up on most of the student's iPad when the quiz is in progress. It's something that I have to figure out.

The Explore Feature is new to Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets. Unfortunately, it doesn't exist on the iPads, which is frustrating because I was hoping to use it in our research when we do mini-inquiries.

Classcraft is like joining Class Dojo, Kahoots and Quizlet Live altogether. They've partnered with Google Classroom to help gamify class management. My classroom is responding real well to this platform.
