Poetry in motion about how we are simultaneously inter-connected and disconnected.
Awesome stuff here!  Totally Worth the 3 minutes and 23 seconds.  Is being connected actually disconnecting us?
My favorite line is about individuality.

Sometimes we forget that ITL (Information & Technology Literacy) doesn't have to always have the T!  Dan Burns from Los Gatos High School in California, shows how gravity affects space and time in this great demonstration.  I wish I were a science teacher, they get to have so much fun!

So a few weeks ago, I came across Powtoon.com.  It is a free (with paid services discounted for teachers), and it allows users to create animated presentations. It is basically an easy to use Flash movie maker. It comes loaded with multiple styles, animations, some background music, and even allows the user to record voice into the video as well.

I am using it with my Freshmen Global Themes class.  I have included my introduction to the project so you can get a feel for the product! It is well worth a look at, for teachers to use as a teaching tool or students to use to work on their critical thinking and communication skills.
