From the ReadWorks Team:

Help your students build funds of related knowledge with paired texts that share a topic.
Paired texts with questions that explore the relationship between the two texts can help your students become stronger readers. They give your students the opportunity to grapple with topics and vocabulary across texts and help build students' funds of knowledge and vocabulary.
To find the paired text of a passage, go to the passage page and click the green tab labeled “Paired Texts.” You can find the paired text questions on this tab as well.
Happy Teaching!

P.S. We've added handy checkboxes to our passage search page so you can find passages with paired texts, vocabulary, and other curriculum more easily.

Dear Teachers,
As educators, we know that asking text-based questions is critical for reading comprehension. That's why each ReadWorks K-12 passage comes with a text-based question set that requires students to base their answers on evidence in the text.

Use these question sets to ask high-quality questions while making your job just a little bit easier.

Please share ReadWorks with all the teachers in your school.
Happy Teaching!
