Javascript/HTML5 is a good choice if you are looking for a language to learn.

More and more is happening on web pages, you can do most anything with HTML5 you can do with other languages. Not everything but a lot. Using frameworks you can do even more. Here is Verlet-js.

loading and unloading android apks with the command line


I'm working with some developers on App Inventor and we are installing and uninstalling apps/ apk files on our Android devices. There are various ways to install and uninstall an app on Android (side load). Here is some info on using the Android SDK tool adb.

find your adb program (adb.exe on Windows) and use this to install

adb -d install simple.apk

the -d tells adb to install on a device, use -e if you want to install on an emulator.

It will bring up a server if one is not running and install the simple.apk on your device.

To uninstall the apk, you can use

adb shell pm uninstall <class> 
where <class> is the class of the app. Examples of classes are

It runs the program manager in a shell and uninstalls your app.

OK I'm trying to get the AI on a computer and when I download the java file, I'm getting this error. Any help would be appreciated. Note: I've tried several times with the same error.
