“Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.” Leviticus 26:1
In Acts 20:20-21, Paul speaks on how he, "...kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."
Faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is the only thing that can save your soul from the wrath of God against YOUR sins.
Turn to him today for Jesus name's sake.
John 1:10-12 tells us of Jesus how, "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"

"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." II Corinthians 5:18:21
It's not about your level of education, economic status, kindred background, or age...

If you're blood bought and on your way to Heaven GOD wants to use you to further the gospel that we find recorded In I Corinthians 15:3-4. Paul here explains that the gospel is proclaiming " that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

If you have believed on the Lord than God expects you to confess His name before others.....   yes YOU

Remember it's not about you it's about the one who hung naked and shamed on that tree for sins He did not commit...

"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief."
I Timothy 1:15

My prayer to God is that we may all be used in a greater way to confess the Lord Jesus Christ before the folks around us starting now. And remember it's all about HIM and not about us.

Jesus said "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." John 12:32

So let Him use you to lift up His name at that next level from here forward.

For His names sake,
John 3:30

18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD." II Chronicles 20:17-18

"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalms 46:10

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

"Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." Jeremiah 33:1,2,3

Not so long go my daughter examined my hands closely and questioned me about a wound that I had picked up. I was amazed at the attention to detail she displayed and set back by the heart of compassion she wore on the outside. I felt loved for sure.   :  )

Likewise we, who are the children of God by faith in His finished work, should recognize His sufferings for our redemption. We should take notice of our Lord who demonstrated His Love on Calvary. We should have hearts that echo thanksgiving through surrendered lives. "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity." II Timothy 2:19
But maybe you who read this are not a Christian at all, you have never turned to Christ for forgiveness. If there's not a time you can look back on where you truly humbled yourself before the Lord and realized that what He did was for you specifically... then let it be now.

His perfect life, shed blood, and victorious resurrection is all that is required for your salvation. Believe on Him this very moment... put your faith in Him and be saved.

Consider Him today all ye who read...
and let Him, The Lord Jesus Christ, be lifted up our estimation.

"O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together."
Psalms 34:3.

Points that these scriptures bear about intoxicating drinks:

- Proverbs 20:1
They will make a fool of you....
wine is a mocker

Violence has attachment to drinking...
strong drink is raging

You are unwise to think contrary to this...
he that is deceived thereby is not wise

- Proverbs 23:20-21
Fellowship with drunkards is forbidden and
the sin of drunkenness results in poverty...

- vs 29-33
Woes, sorrows, contentions, babbling, unexplained injury, & bloodshot eyes come from drunkenness.

We are told not to even LOOK at fermented wine
Fruit of the vine that chemically changes...
with bubbling and changing of color vs 31

Why? You might still be asking....
Because God loves us and knows clearly that this fruit of the vine gone toxic will BITE YOU IN THE END.

Your good manners and self control will go out the window and be replaced by lewd eyes & perverse speech.

Be wise and take heed to God's commands and warnings clearly spelled out for us in plain English.

God's blessings brethren,
John 3:30

Be careful of the words you say, Keep them short and sweet. You never know, from day to day, Which ones you'll have to eat.

I don't do secular quotes very often; but, this is one that I would like to get a hold of. I want my words to be always with grace and only seasoned with salt... the reverse has been true more times than I wish I had to admit. Colossians 4:5-6

Our speech cannot be taken back once it is released.

One thing that I can do though, is my best to love God's word so that I am not offended by the words, deeds, or actions of others.... my reaction to life and circumstance is a great indicator of how close I am walking with God.

Psalms 119:165
