The Fountain & Ink might be working it's way into my number one pub slot for beer and nibbles.

Granted it's convenient and convenience trumps pretty much everything, but nevertheless it's spacious, welcoming, does a fine selection of beers plus great pizzas and nibbles.

We've had a week of roasts on the menu at work: I'm not exactly sure why.

Today's offering was roast beef. Not bad for work grub.

Do you have any work and food related traditions?

I mostly eat at work during the week and have fallen into the habit of having Fish'n Chips on Fridays'.

Tasty roast, which I ate out the back at the Florence in Hern Hill on Sunday.

The food was good, though I had to battle with flies and the heat!

Double Duck Burger ...

I'm not really a burger connoisseur, but this one is definitely one of the better burgers I've had in and around London.

The surroundings are quite pleasant too πŸ‘

Seafood udon noodles.

I used to eat stacks of this stuff at this place when I lived in the East End πŸ‘

I've recently developed a bit of a Fish & Chips habit.

Only weekly, on Fridays though, so I can't really blame my expanded waistline on that. 😁

Last Friday I wasn't working so I went with my son to try out a local posh chippy: Olley's Fish Experience.

Went to the Cat & Mutton pub yesterday with friends.

We had Camembert, Haddock and Chips, and the Pork Belly options. Washed down with plenty of beer.

Yummy stuff.
