For painting a gloriously messy picture(s) of the elephant(s) in the 'classroom' that is TECHNOLOGY.
YES YOU WILL USE SERIOUS HARDWARE. NO THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LOBBYING OF TECH COMPANIES.
I just wonder if the "Wow' I tried another cool web 2.0 app blogs/shows/screencasts are not in part instrumental in wowing/terrifying technoanxious teachers. (LOOK WE HAVE 30,000 links on DIIGO - who, where what? ER sure of course.)
WHAT ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF LEARNING?
I sat through an absurd presentation the other day of 'pedagogical engineers' who were trying to flog to teachers 'innovative' teaching methods. We got to see 'rich media streaming' of a guy muttering in front of some blackboard in an amphitheatre. There was, we were assured a mobile app for the pricy platform (er chalk)
We assume that the tech all works including wifi.

How can we prioritise digital literacies (good luck with definition) development of educators and other learners?
