Thought for Today:
Jesus is standing at the door of your heart - waiting for you to open it up to Him. You have the choice to leave your heart closed or open it to Him.

God gave you a free will and He won't violate it. God is holy - we are not. We all have sinned and committed evil. If we came into God's presence with sin - we would be consumned! Why? Because God is surrounded by fire, that burns up sin and keeps Him holy.

God made a way for us to come into His presence. He loves us so much that He was willing to send His Only Begotten Son - Who knew no sin - to become sin for us.

Jesus took the penalty for our sin - which was separation from God. Jesus was crucified on the Cross, buried, went into Hell. Hell couldn't hold Him!! Jesus got the Keys of Hell and Death and rose from the dead! He's alive forevermore!

Now, it's 100% up to you to receive what He did. If you do nothing - keeping the door of your heart closed - no action is the same as rejection.

Open the door of your heart by saying, "Yes," to Jesus. Ask Him to come into your heart, cleanse you from your sin, and make you new.

When you make Jesus "Lord" of your life - you become "born of the Spirit." You are then washed clean of your sin and are made righteous in God's sight.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

I opened my heart to Jesus when I was 14 years old. It was the best decision of my life! He saved, healed, delivered me and gave me His peace! Now, I have a relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three-in-One and eternally, a home in Heaven.

Blessings and love,

Pastor Linda
