Hey all!

I'm going to be Irvine and surrounding from 1pm until my flight out of John Wayne airport at 745pm.

Any recommendation of some places to chill? Maybe where I can open up my laptop and do some work. Or some place where I can just walk around for a bit.

I don't mind driving to nearby cities of course. Was going to post at the Orange County Local Guides community but found out this community has more members haha

Thanks! :)

No I don't want another golf course. Especially a luxury one. #irvine #news #opinion

I'm on my journey to level 4. Trying to do about 20 points a day. After you have covered all your favorite spots, you really have to get out and find new places to interact with else the 200 point mark becomes extremely elusive.

I started doing some photospheres too, those are cool. Have you tried doing them yet? -- You need the google camera app, the rest is easy.

I included a few recent ones I added to various places.
( so much for that, the photospheres and panorama photos don't work on here -- ironic, but oh well).

Broadcom has been a big employer in Irvine, until recent times when it was purchased by a chipmaker from Singapore. -- Now their buildings are for sale:

Hello, my name is Oscar. Known on the web as Notagrouch. I live in Irvine and love to explore around town. I have an awesome wife and two little ones. You'll see pictures of them and stuff if you follow me on G+ or Twitter or one of my blogs.

For work, I run my own Internet marketing consulting company and I'm a professional blogger. I teach people how to quit their jobs, or how to increase their income from their current business.

I teach people how to run their own business from the comfort of anywhere -- all they need is an internet connection and a computer or tablet. That's the beauty of the dot com lifestyle (which anybody can achieve).

I teach how to use technology to maximize exposure, engagement and profits. You can find links to my websites and other profiles around the web from my Google+ profile.

(please introduce yourself too) - place your post under the "introduce yourself" category. The category option will appear after you type your introduction and click "post".

I added my first place using the "add missing business" form, but it hasn't shown up yet. I wonder what is the process to get that included and do we get points for adding that too?
