Hi +Friedger Müffke! You said there would be a (beta) update available that solves the problem of the password needed to be entered twice after device lock. Could you please point me to it?
The beta activation link does not work for org.openintents.safe

New Collectionista alpha version ready

For over a year I have been working on a new version of Collectionista and its extension(s). Needless to say this is a big update that finally structurally brings to it all the stacked Honeycomb / Ice Cream Sandwich / Jelly Bean goodness of the latest versions of Android. Internally, and with the little time I get to spend on this project, it has been a huge chore, and the impact is large. Why, I'll divulge later.

To try out this early alpha build, become a member of this community, subscribe to the alpha test using https://play.google.com/apps/testing/net.lp.collectionista, and install the Collectionista app from the Play Store.

Before you do, know that my usecase tests and unit tests don't even reach halfway currently. I have a long list of things that still need to be fixed and features I still have to finish. It will crash. All memory leaks are back (I had to remove my safeguards). Heck, the UI isn't even finished. However, I find it useful to get a version out there early. I may actually never get around to releasing the stable version of this, due to time constraints, who knows.

'Nough said. If you want to see stability download the current stable version of Collectionista in the Play Store (works best for Gingerbread phones and older). As such, I am not so much looking for feedback, but rather giving you a view into what I see. It's not that an Android tablet app is hard to make, it's that it is hard to finish well and stabilize in little time.

The beauty of this version is how it behaves different yet very native on Gingerbread phones, Jelly Bean phones, tablets, and Google TV. If you install it on one device, I urge you to install it on your other distinct form factors, and see that it is very well possible to stay native (no ActionBarSherlock here!). Tested with Galaxy Tab 10" tablet (HC), Galaxy Nexus (JB), 720p Logitech Revue (HC), Nexus One (GB). Multipane layouts are included but not optimised yet for all densities or postures. The Revue particularly has graphical stability issues and crashes often.

Thanks!

(Sorry for the cross-post, but it fits rather well to the current members and Collectionista does make use of  OpenIntents apps and .. well .. open intents.)
