LAST LIGHT
"We often forget that we nature. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection to nature, we've lost our connection to ourselves."

WARP SPEED
Do you shoot abstract? This is the shot from the back of the Chicago’s L train from the last summer. At that time I was new to Chicago and I was exploring the city. The idea was simple and I knew what to do, the problem was how to execute the shot since not all end cars have the access to the back window. It took me a while to find the one with the back access and on that ride I got two good shots. One I posted earlier last year and I almost forgot about this one. So here it is. What do you think?

ESCAPE
I think that the most important thing about any art is the sense of escape. What do you think?

BALLROOM
Do you enjoy shooting architecture? I certainly do! Shooting architecture outdoors is a lot of fun in US. Big cities, skyscrapers, urban vistas, real joy! Chicago was a home of Sullivan & Frank Lloyd Wright, great architects obsessed with details and symmetry. They certainly speak my language. But for my own taste and enjoyment I couldn't find a ton of indoor spaces that really excite me. The old churches, cathedrals, castles with detailed walls, fresco paintings, wood work, etc. It was all until recently when I discovered the Gold Room in the Congress hotel, open for public only one day every year. I had to be there at the right time and I it was a lot of fun. What do you think?

ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK
How often do you explore your neighborhood(s)? I do it all the time. I find it very therapeutic and relaxing. I get very excited when I’m able to find some gems hiding in the plain site. A few weeks back I was chasing fog at a near by suburban park. I discovered this park two months back while kayaking and barbecuing with my friends. I had the chance to explore the area from the water and the ground and I had this planned since then. I was too late for the fall shot at that time so I decided to wait for the foggy conditions. I was going for the painterly and minimalistic feel, simplicity all the way. What do you think?
