FREE Google for Education Workshops at Hedley Beare Centre for Teaching & Learning for ACT Education Directorate employees

A suite of eight three-hour workshops are on offer Monday 20 to Thursday 23 August that cater for beginner through to innovator levels and can be booked through the Professional Learning Events Calendar (PLEC).

Reviews from past participants include: “I was not expecting this workshop to be so informative. It was truly practical and useful and will make my teaching practice far more effective. Thank you!” and “I was able to relate each activity to an aspect of curriculum delivery in classrooms with students.”

Back by popular demand - the free G Suite for Education (GSFE) workshops will again be running during Week 5 Term 2 at HBCTL.

The sessions are available to the ACT public school teaching community. We listened to your feedback and designed a suite of workshops to cater for beginner through to innovator level. The workshops will inspire successful implementation of the GSFE tools and more in all areas of the Australian Curriculum.

Do not miss out this term. Morning and afternoon sessions will run from Tuesday 29 May to Friday 1 June. To fully participate in the workshop activities, staff are asked to bring and share examples of work in progress or past classroom assignments. Sessions this term include Coding for Kids (and Adults!) and Flipped Learning for your Students. Please circulate and download the flyer for display in staff areas. Book your seat through the PLEC.
