Amazon has reportedly bought land in Sydney for $7 Million in an industrial area south-west of Sydney around 60 km from downtown. Amazon is looking to build more fulfillment centres in order to tackle the logistical challenge of Australia's geography.

Many have reported #amazonaustralia would have it's official soft launch Friday 24th November 2017. Although today has proven not to be the case, a clue that it's not too far away is the auto-complete search suggestion tool which is already up and running in the search box on the amazon.com.au site.

Here you can begin to search for many other physical items from a range of departments other than just books...

Amazon launches hiring spree as it prepares for Australian launch

Gone will be the days where Australians will have to wait weeks for items bought overseas. Amazon's local fulfillment Warehouses will be a game changer in Australia. More from the article:
